LIVE BLADE Shoge- Comprised of 1018 steel, hardened, tempered with 20 ft rope with 4 1/2 inch steel ring. Cord wrapped handle.For those who wish to practice with a real weighted item this item is available sharpened or unsharpened. PLEASE, PLEASE, be aware if you order the sharp version it is a potentially lethal weapon and can hurt you very badly if misused. If you are unfamiliar with the usage please order the training version with steel ring unless you simply want one for display purposes. As always please practice proper weapon safety and control.

DELUXE LIVE BLADE SHOGE Comprised of 1018 hand forged steel, hardened, tempered with 20 ft rope with 4 1/2 inch steel ring. Lines ground on blade to show center line on blade and ridges on hook(see photo). 3/16's to 1/4 inch thick at the ridge marks. Tsuka done  tsukamaki style- fitted hardwood handles, pinned with two bamboo mekugi. Available in any combination sharp, unsharp, black or high polish.

All Sensu Gata Tessen come with cord wrapped handles for grip, and tassle and are made of either uhmw marine plastic or select dark hardwood.
